What is VET FEE-HELP?

VET FEE-HELP is a Federal Government program to financially support students in vocational education.

Does VET FEE-HELP cover all my course costs?

VET FEE-HELP only covers tuition fees, which includes things like course materials and paying workshop leaders. It can't pay for things like food, accommodation and travel.

Yes. VET FEE-HELP is a loan, which is paid back when you pay tax. However, you only have to start paying FeeHELP back once your annual income (before tax) reaches a certain amount.

How much can I earn before I have to start paying VET FEE-HELP back?

In 2009-2010, the amount was $43,151.

I've already studied before and have a HECS/HELP debt. Can I still get VET FEE-HELP?
