Larry Brendtro, a youth worker and educator of over 40 years, is coming to Australia. In April, Praxis & Urban Seed offer the rare opportunity for you and your agency to be trained by one of the founders of the Circle of Courage framework. The following training sessions are open:
The Circle of Courage: Response Ability Pathways (RAP) - 6-8th April 2010
3 day experiential workshop which offers training in three practical ‘response abilities’ that are the basis on natural human helping behaviours. Participants will learn to connect with and engage a person in need, help them clarify immediate problems and support them in taking responsibility for finding restorative solutions.

'Developmental Audit' - 9th April 2010
1 day seminar provides an introduction to a structured & comprehensive assessment process based on the Circle of Courage model. This is ideal for professionals who are working with young people & already familiar with the 'Circle' model. The Developmental Audit uses an ecological approach to explore a variety of perspectives with a particular focus on incorporating the private logic & goals of the young person in need.
